Found in Dark Waters
I grew up near the Baltic Sea. As a child, I would walk the beaches for hours — patient, watchful, searching the shoreline after a storm. Amber does not announce itself. It arrives hidden in the debris the sea throws ashore — tangled seaweed, driftwood, shells, the dark and nameless matter pulled up from the deep. You have to slow down, look closely, and be willing to sift through what is uncomfortable before the gold reveals itself.
So is the gold within us.
This is what amber has always taught me. Not just as a stone, but as a guide. It is one of the oldest healing substances on earth — Baltic gold, formed over millions of years, carrying within it the warmth and light of ancient forests. And yet it is found in the debris. In the mess the sea leaves behind. In the places we would rather walk past.
I have carried this knowing my whole life, and now I bring it into the work. The amber massage is an invitation into the same process — slow, patient, and willing to meet what lies beneath the surface. Because the body, like the shore, holds things in hidden places. And when we slow down enough to look, what we find is often gold.
Millions of years of Baltic sunlight.
Baltic amber is fossilised resin — tree sap preserved for millions of years in the ancient forests that once covered the Baltic coast. It carries the memory of life.
Baltic amber contains succinic acid — an antioxidant compound that supports cellular energy production and has documented anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties. When amber dust is worked into the skin it absorbs transdermally, acting directly at a tissue level. Amber also holds heat with unusual depth — it warms slowly, retains it long, and releases it in a way that penetrates rather than sits on the surface. Amber also generates a natural electrostatic charge through touch — the word "electricity" itself comes from elektron, the ancient Greek word for amber. This combination of biochemical absorption, sustained warmth, and natural charge makes it genuinely therapeutic, not just symbolic.
In Latvian mythology, amber is the gift of Saule — the sun goddess — cast into the sea and washed ashore as tears of light. It carries solar energy in physical form: warmth, life force, the light that entered ancient resin millions of years ago and never left. Energetically, amber purifies, protects, and draws out what no longer belongs. In Baltic healing tradition it was used to clear stagnant energy, strengthen the energy field, and reconnect a person to their own warmth and vitality. I have grown up with amber. It comes from the same land, the same tradition, the same memory as my practice.
How the Journey Unfolds
Each session moves through the body slowly and with intention. There is no fixed script — but there is a natural rhythm that tends to emerge.
We begin with the body. Slow, deliberate touch — not to relax, but to listen. The body holds information: old patterns, unmet feelings, places where something is waiting to be seen. The massage moves through this territory carefully, noticing where there is tension, resistance, or aliveness. What arises during this phase may feel uncomfortable. That is not a mistake — it is the work beginning.
When the body is ready, amber enters. Your body is covered in Baltic amber — warm, ancient, luminous. This is not decoration. Amber is one of the oldest healing forces on earth, and it carries a quality of light. It has long been understood to draw out what needs to leave, and bring warmth to what has gone cold. As it rests against your skin, something begins to shift. What the hands found in the dark, the amber begins to illuminate.
The psyche understands through symbol and story. As amber rests on the body, something in the inner world often begins to move — images, memories, clarity, or simply a deep settling. This is where the nervous system starts to make sense of what the session has opened. We allow time for this. The session does not rush to its ending — it completes itself in its own time.
When the Session Calls for It
Reiki is a Japanese energy healing practice based on the principle that life force energy flows through the body — and that when this flow is blocked or depleted, wellbeing suffers. A Reiki practitioner works with this energy, using light touch or proximity, to support the body's own capacity to restore balance. It is deeply calming to the nervous system and works on layers the physical hands alone cannot reach. It is not a belief system — it is a practice, and the body knows how to receive it.
Reiki and other energy healing techniques are not applied as a fixed part of this session — they are brought in when the work asks for them. Some sessions call for it strongly; others remain in the physical body throughout. I follow what is present rather than what is planned. My background in Reiki and energy work spans over a decade, woven through the same Baltic healing lineage that informs everything I offer.

Investment & Details
One full session of amber massage, somatic touch, sound healing, and energy work — everything included.
Part of this investment goes towards sourcing authentic Baltic amber dust from Latvian producers. Amber dust is a very fine, light powder of pure amber — when worked into the skin it absorbs transdermally, delivering succinic acid, sustained warmth, and a natural electrostatic charge directly into the tissue. Much of what is sold as amber is not genuine; I source directly from small Latvian producers I trust, and supporting them is part of how I practise with integrity.
€50 for my work · €30 to Saged Club

What you might want to know.
If something isn't answered here, you are always welcome to reach out before booking.
We begin with a brief conversation — what you are carrying, what you want to move through. From there the session moves through three phases: slow somatic massage to find where the body is holding information; the arrival of Baltic amber, which is worked into and placed on the body; and a period of integration held by sound. The session responds to what arises — there is no fixed script.
Not in the conventional sense. This is slow, deeply felt therapeutic work. Relaxation may come — but it is not the aim. The aim is to find what the body is holding, and to meet it with presence. Some moments may feel tender or uncomfortable. That is part of the process.
Warm, finely textured, deeply penetrating. Amber dust absorbs into the skin as it is worked in. By the end of the session there is a faint golden shimmer on the body. Many people describe the warmth as unlike anything they have experienced with any other massage medium — it enters rather than rests on the surface.
This work requires a particular quality of trust, presence and vulnerability. I have found that holding a women-only space allows for a depth and safety that serves the work. This is a considered boundary, not an arbitrary one.
No. This work meets you wherever you are. You do not need to understand the tools, hold any particular belief, or have done anything like this before. Openness and willingness are the only requirements.
Comfortable clothing you are happy to have amber dust on. You will be on a massage table, so wear layers you are comfortable removing. Bring water, and give yourself time afterwards — this is not a session to rush out of. Amber washes out of fabric easily.
Sessions in the first trimester are not offered. Later stages can be discussed individually — please reach out before booking so we can assess together what is appropriate for your circumstances.
